MISFIT

Conduct Guidelines

Friendly guidance for meeting with freedom, respect and care.

Version 1.0 — effective 28 August 2026

Being different is the starting point

MISFIT was created for people who have sometimes felt out of place. You do not have to justify your body, personality, fears, history or circumstances. Categories merely open a door: you decide what to share, when to share it and with whom.

A nickname does not prevent authenticity

You do not need to use your real name, but you can still be honest. Introduce yourself simply. Do not try to appear perfect—perfection is not required here. Gradually share what feels comfortable and give the other person the same freedom.

Your first message does not need to be extraordinary

A kind greeting and a genuine question work better than a rehearsed line. Begin with something you share, ask about their day, or simply admit that you feel a little nervous. Shyness is not failure; it is often a form of care.

Ask questions, not interrogations

A selected category does not entitle anyone to diagnoses, documents, intimate details or explanations. Try asking, “Is there anything you would like me to understand?” or “What would help you feel comfortable?”. Respect “I would rather not discuss that yet.”

Respect makes freedom possible

There is no genuine interest without consent, and consent is never permanent. Agreeing to a conversation does not mean agreeing to photographs, sex, a meeting or contact elsewhere. Ask, listen and accept every boundary without pressure.

Do not treat silence as an insult

People may be busy, anxious, uncertain or simply not feel a connection. Nobody owes a response. If a conversation does not continue, close it with dignity and allow pending LOVE LINKS to become available again.

Protect your identity without embarrassment

At first, avoid sharing your address, workplace, routine, identity documents, banking information or details that make you easy to trace. Never send money or disclose codes received by email or telephone. Someone sincerely interested in you will respect your caution.

If you decide to meet

Choose a public place, tell a trusted person about the plan, arrange your own transport and keep your telephone charged. You are never required to stay. You can change your mind at any time, including at the last moment.

Trust uncomfortable feelings

Pressure, urgency, inconsistent stories, financial requests, manipulative victimhood or attempts to isolate you are warning signs. Block and report whenever something feels wrong. In an immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

There is a person behind every nickname

Be curious without intruding, humorous without humiliating, and direct without cruelty. If there is no compatibility, kindness is enough. If a connection begins, give it time to become real.

MISFIT does not promise love. It offers a place to look for it without pretending to be somebody else.
